Nestled in the landscapes of Serra da Estrela, Portugal, Casa da Várzea (House of the Valley) is a rural homestay where time slows down. Capturing its essence, a series of photographs were transformed into postcards for guests, preserving moments of stillness and quiet beauty. The project extended beyond the homestay, with a visual and cultural immersion into the neighbouring town’s traditional winemaking practices. Through shared food, quiet rituals, and candid conversation, the brand narrative became one of simplicity, connection, and place.
